General

How do I get a price?

Book a free in-home estimate. We measure, discuss scope, and send a written line-item estimate separating cabinets, counters, labor and permits. We do not quote over the phone, because a number given without a measure is a number that changes.

Are you licensed and insured?

Licensed, bonded and insured in Arizona, with general liability coverage in force. A certificate of insurance is available on request.

Do you charge for the first visit?

No. The in-home measurement and the written estimate cost nothing and carry no obligation.

Can I text you?

No. Calls only. We do not receive text messages at our number.

Cost

What does a full renovation cost?

Most full projects run $35,000 to $130,000 depending on cabinet tier and whether anything structural moves. Countertop-only work runs $3,500 to $14,000 and cabinet refacing $4,500 to $12,000. Large custom homes run well above that.

What moves the number most?

Whether a wall is load bearing. Whether the sink, range or refrigerator moves, since relocating plumbing and gas is where budgets quietly break. Cabinet tier. Slab selection. And permits.

Why does a small bathroom cost so much?

Six trades, a permit and the same mobilization as a large one, spread over less square footage. Small rooms are not proportionally cheaper.

Do you offer financing?

We can refer you to lenders who work with renovation projects. We are not a lender and take no position in the financing.

Schedule and permits

How long does a project take?

Six to ten weeks for a standard full renovation once materials arrive. Custom cabinets add four or more weeks of shop time before demolition, so order early. Luxury and structural work runs ten to sixteen weeks.

Do you pull the permits?

Yes. Any structural, electrical or plumbing change requires one, and we handle the application and the inspections as part of the contract.

Do you handle HOA approvals?

Yes, and in many gated communities that step is not optional. We prepare the submittal package and work to the association's schedule.

Can you work around seasonal travel?

Yes, and a lot of our work for seasonal residents is scheduled that way. We run the disruptive phases while you are away and hold finish work for your return.

Living through it

Can I stay in my house during the work?

Almost everyone does. We set dust barriers, protect flooring and access routes, and can usually rig a temporary sink and refrigerator station so you are not eating out for two months.

Will there be dust everywhere?

There will be some. Containment, daily cleanup and floor protection keep it to the work zone. Anyone who tells you a renovation is dust-free has not done one.

Who do I call if something goes wrong?

Your project manager, directly. One person owns the job from measure to punch list.

What warranty do you provide?

A written workmanship warranty handed over at the final walkthrough, alongside the manufacturers' warranties for cabinetry, appliances, fixtures and stone.

Materials

Is quartz better than granite?

For most homes, yes. Quartz is non-porous, never needs sealing and sits at 7 on the Mohs scale against marble's 3. Granite wins on heat tolerance and on the character of a natural slab, and it is the better pick if you put hot pans directly on the counter.

Should I reface my cabinets or replace them?

Reface if the boxes are solid plywood and square and you only dislike the doors. Replace if the carcases are water-damaged particle board, the layout is wrong, or you want deeper drawers.

What is the difference between framed and frameless cabinets?

A 12 inch frameless European box accepts a 10 inch drawer where a face-frame box of the same width takes 8.5. Across a full run of cabinets that recovers real storage.

Is engineered stone safe to fabricate?

Cutting and polishing it releases crystalline silica dust, and the health record is serious: roughly 500 California fabrication workers had been diagnosed with silicosis by January 2026, and Australia banned the material outright on July 1, 2024. Ask any fabricator whether they cut wet and use respiratory protection. We do.
